You can, but the order of steps matters. First add your e-mail address in the app under Settings → Account & Cloud & Telemetry — that keeps your learning progress. Then cancel the subscription in your Apple or Google Play account; your data stays intact. After that you can buy a new licence here using the same e-mail address. Important: we have no access to subscriptions billed by Apple or Google — only you can cancel them. If you buy here without cancelling there, you pay twice. When in doubt, write to [email protected] and we will walk you through it.

Progress is stored in the browser’s LocalStorage—this is device-specific and is reset when you clear your cache. With the full version, progress is backed up on the server (cloud sync). Recommendation: Do not use incognito mode.

Without a licence you need neither an account nor an email address; your learning progress stays on your device or in the browser. The app does, however, send usage events with a random device identifier — without a name. With a licence (full version), your progress is also backed up on our server in Frankfurt, linked to your licence number; an email address only if you provide one.

On the website we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement — both only after your consent via the cookie banner (Real Cookie Banner). In the app there are no ads and no ad tracking.

Yes. For school use: Students do not need their own email address. The join code is sufficient. In the dashboard the teacher sees the exercise results under the name the child enters when joining (e.g. a first name or initials).
