What is it?
Over 28,000 Latin words, forms and practice sentences in Lapicida are recorded, in classical pronunciation. You hear how a word sounds instead of guessing from the spelling. When a whole sentence is read aloud, the word you hear and its part of the sentence light up. More on listening and reading aloud
These settings
- ♪ button (speaker): Tap to hear the pronunciation as often as you like.
- Auto-Play: Also plays the pronunciation automatically after every answer.
Sound is a full-version feature. Without a licence you hear it in the first reading text in Unda — there it is on from the start.
Where do I find it?
Menu (☰) → ⚙️ Settings → 🔊 Audio & Pronunciation. Auto-Play is also a quick switch right in the sidebar.
For dyslexia
If you learn better by listening, leave Auto-Play on: seeing and hearing a form at the same time anchors it twice. And the ♪ button repeats any form as often as you like — no pressure.
