What is this?
More than 28,000 Latin vocabulary words, forms and practice sentences in Lapicida have been voiced (natural speech output). That way you hear the correct pronunciation instead of just working it out from the spelling.
These settings
- ♪ button (speaker): Always available. Tap it and listen to the pronunciation as often as you like — even without a licence.
- Auto-play (licence only): Also plays the pronunciation automatically after every answer. Without a licence auto-play is locked; the ♪ button still works.
Where do I find it?
Menu (☰) → ⚙️ Settings → 🔊 Audio & pronunciation section. Auto-play is also available as a quick toggle right in the sidebar.
For dyslexia
If you learn better by ear, leave auto-play on: seeing a form and hearing it at the same time anchors it twice over. And you can have any form read aloud using the ♪ button as often as you like — with no pressure at all.
