What has changed between versions — the official update notes.
Version 1.5.1 — 7 August 2026
- New: write instead of type (the wax tablet). Write forms by hand instead of typing — in the vocabulary trainer, the forms trainer and in “Brick by Brick”. Recognition runs on your device (offline, nothing is sent). Turn it on: Settings → Handwriting (full version).
- What you write with. Apple Pencil (iPad), Samsung Galaxy with S Pen, devices with a USI stylus — or a simple stylus for a few euros; even your finger. With a real pen and on a tablet, recognition is noticeably better.
- “Brick by Brick” now takes handwriting too; from the second form on, the task only shows what changes — less reading, more seeing.
- New reading entry point: authors as image tiles instead of a long list. Pick an author (or “all”), narrow it down if you like (classical, theological, level) — your chosen filters stay visible at the top. The same entry point is now in Sensus, too.
- More vocabulary for school years 1 and 2.
- Forms trainer: new word types (pater, homo, mare, acer, nullus, velle), six adjectives with the full paradigm, 300 new example sentences, more audio and corrected translation hints.
- Sentence quiz: over 900 vocabulary hints reworked (qui now reads “who, what”), cum-clauses grown from 13 to 59, and scoring bugs fixed for tense, person, number and deponents.
- More reliable cloud storage: your progress is saved continuously and merged instead of overwritten — the furthest state always wins; the last five states are kept as a backup.
- Fixed: on some devices the forms trainer would no longer start — caused by progress data in an old format. Repaired, with your progress preserved.

- Structured curriculum by school year (1–4): from the very first word to reading original texts.
